Observation

The concern that staff were not supervising children to be aware of what children are doing at all times and not considering the individual differences and abilities of children to consider increasing supervision in regards to the allegation that a child receiving a head wound resulting in stiches is more likely than not, valid because during the onsite visit and interview with staff, the staff said when transitioning outside, the children ran ahead and they did not see the child hit the pole and were told by the children what happened and during the onsite visit, the Licensor observed the teacher unable to supervise and alone control the behaviors of children running ahead of the teacher and children lagging behind the teachers when the teacher was transitioning a group 14 children inside and the licensor observed the same teacher alone with a group of 14 children unable to control the behaviors of children running in licensed space, playing in and around the bathroom, kicking the individual bins for personal items, and playing in the curtains while also trying to set up snack.
